Privacy Policy

1. Where your data is stored

VeraDose stores your medication information and dose records on your device first (offline-first). The app keeps working without an internet connection because the primary copy of your data lives on your phone.

2. Caregiver syncing

Only when you set up a caregiver connection are the relevant dose details sent, in encrypted form, to our servers (Supabase infrastructure) so they can be shared with your caregiver. If you don't use the caregiver feature, none of your data ever leaves your device.

3. What data we collect

• Medication name, dosage, and reminder times
• Dose taken/not-taken records
• If a caregiver connection is established, the anonymous user ID that enables the connection

We do not request directly identifying information such as your name, address, or contact details for authentication purposes.

4. How your data is used

Your data is collected solely to provide medication reminders and caregiver sharing functionality. It is never used for ad targeting, and never sold to third parties.

5. Deleting your data

You can request deletion of all your data at any time from the app's settings. Data on your device is removed when you uninstall the app; data kept on our servers for caregiver syncing is permanently deleted upon your request.
